Eid Ul Adha falls on the 10th of Zilhajjil Haram. It is also known as Yaumun Nahar. There is a lot of sawab in performing Zabihat during Eid ul Adha. With reference to Zabihat, Rasulullah SAW has said on an Eid ul Adha khutba, that if a person does Zabihat during the Eid ul Adha days with True/Sincere niyat, then the First drop of blood from Zabihat will result in the forgiveness of his sins.

The day of Eid ul Adha is the day of forgiveness of one's sins.

Zabihat can be done from right after Eid ul Adha namaz(after Sunrise) till Zawal time. Performers of haj are able to do Zabihat from the 10th of Zilhaj to the 13th from Sunrise to Zawal waqt.

In terms of the significance /sawab, the greatest sawab is obtained in Zabihat of She-Camel(Unthni), followed by a Camel(Unth), Cow, Bull, Sheep and lastly Goat.
