Dateline: Houston 28 Zilhaj H1421 (23 March 2001)
Ya Husain! Ya Husain! The flags are up on Al Masjid-ul-Mohammedi, Houston.
Al Masjid-ul-Mohammedi is clearly showing the Image of Ashara. For those
who have attended Ashara Mubaraka with Huzurala TUS just have to visualize
the Manzar and can wonder, "Is it possible in America?" It is Happening,
folks.
The vicinity of the masjid is buzzing with khidmatguzaars getting
everything ready for Ashara. It is Happening at Warp Speed.
The ladies Tutak is up. Sehan has been built up and the two sides of the
Masjid have been extended to afford maximum number of mumineen the Sharaf of
Deedar Mubaraka. Across from the Masjid, there used to be a Church
Building. It was recently purchased and is now Evan-e-Burhani with Ashara
offices for Registration, Accommodation, Transportation, Hawaij(Arzi),
Information and more have been setup.
I had pre-registered on the Net and it took 5 minutes for my registration cards to be
ready.
I then took my registration cards to the Waaz-Gents desk and got a token and was told to
take my Waaz cards from the window in the back after 20 minutes. I took the
time to survey the area of the masjid. Having been in Houston last summer
during Milaad Mubaraka of Aqa MaulaTUS, the transformation of the area had me
awe struck.
As I surveyed the area, I kept thinking to myself that I know that there are infinite
Firishtaa in Huzurala TUS's khidmat even though my bodily eyes cannot see them,
what I am observing is Firishtaa Sifat Mumineen in khidmat of Huzurala TUS preparing
the Masjid Vicinity for Ashara.
Next to the Evan a huge tent type temporary structure is up and showing the
signs of Mawaaid Burhaniyah for Ashara 1422. For those mumineen who
attended the Iftetah of Al Jamea Al Anwar in Misr in H1401, the Mawaaid in
Houston shows the resemblance of the Mawaaid at Atlas in Misr in H1401.
Going backwards on the timeline. Mumineen arriving at the airport are
greeted with Misri and brought to the Masjid area in Luxury Buses.
I know I am rambling. It may seem to someone who has attended Ashara
Mubaraka, so what is new. Every Ashara Mubaraka a Bilaad Imaniyah is
transformed for Aza-e-Imam Husain AS. To a lot of mumineen, this seemed
next to impossible in the West. Well, as I said earlier, IT IS HAPPENING.
Come and See it for yourself. The flag of YA HUSAIN! has been raised for
Ashara Mubaraka H1422 in the Western Hemisphere in this Glorious Burhani
Doar.

May Allah-o-taala Bestow Umardaraazi Ta Roze Qaymut Upon our Beloved
AqaMaulaTUS to Lead us in Bukaa and Matam-e-Husain AS thus elevating the
Darajaah of each mumin muqhlis. Ameen.
