The first waaz of Ashara Mubaraka 1424H began with an explanation of the word "faatir" - one of Allah's names. The word means creator but is distinct from "khaaliq" which also means creator in that the Arabic word "fatara" is used when speaking of creation the beginning - in the first instance. Molana -l-minaam (tus) explained lucidly how Allah's creation is not subject to trial, error and change. Man may try one thing and then another, ironing out flaws in his work until it succeeds but Allah does not. He did not, for example, first create man with one eye or one leg or hand and then subsequently change it. Molana TUS stated that this kind of trial and error is necessary for those who are lacking in prior knowledge therefore needing to experiment in order to learn. Molana told us that "Deene Qayyim" is what we have been created for - for humans to first attain humanity and from there to progress to angelic status. Speaking of the succession of Awliyaullah, Molana TUS explained that "La ilaha illallah" is found in the Quran twice whilst "Mohammedun Rasulallah" is found once. This is explained as the continuation of imamat before and after Rasulallah - Molana Abu Talib (a.s.) and Molana Ali (a.s.). Muslimeen can only be considered Muslimeen if they attest to "La ilaha illallah" followed by "Mohammedun Rasulallah" - he cannot be a Muslim just by saying "La ilaha illallah". For a Mumin to be a true Mumin he has to go one step further by adding "Aliyun Waliullah". A Muslim, Molana pointed out, was on the veranda or waiting room outside the room of imaan. This waiting room has furnishings but does not contain the artefacts of deep interest found in the room itself. The creation of Adam Nabi (a.s.) was compared to that of Eesa Nabi (a.s.). Adam was created from earth yet Christians regard the birth of Eesa Nabi from Maryam (a.s.) as a miracle that can only be explained if he is the son of God. This is refuted in the Quran which says that Eesa Nabi's example is like that of Adam who was borne of earth. Mankind, being of the earth, should not eat soil - it is haraam though many people do so. The mother and father of a Mumin are Rasulallah and Molana Ali whose light we have been created from - it is our great sharaf. By this noor we will rise up through the stages of Paradise. In te night of satr this light is carried by the Duaat and it is to gather this light that we congregate in this waaz. Molana TUS related the story of how Rasulallah SAW caused a bolt of lightning to light the way home for the young Hasan AS and Husain (AS). Then he told of how Molana Ali AS led Jabir to ziyarat of Rasulallah SAW(hundreds of miles away) on a path of light. He followed this with the zikr of Molatena Fatema's AS noorani shawl which converted 70 Jews to Islam and how the enemies of Dawat sought to extinguish this light by slaying Imam Husain. Instead , as his head was taken to Shaam, a Christian monk saw the light of his raas mubarak and offered the dushmans 10 000 dinars to take it with him for just one night and converted to Islam. Today Mumineen, Aqamola TUS said, wherever they are congregated for waaz have gathered before Aqamola TUS. Seeing the radiance of the mohabbat in Mumineen's faces, the radiance of ilm and seeing this majlis gave Molana great joy. May Allah t`aala preserve our beloved Aqamola TUS in radiant sehat and aafiyat to shower noor upon Mumineen worldwide - until qiyamat. Ameen |
