The 16th of Safar, 1424, Yaum-ul-Jumua, brought showers of barakaat to mumineen of East Africa and in particular to mumineen of Nairobi as the zameen of Nairobi was blessed with the Qudum mubarak of our beloved Aqa Moula (TUS). En-route to Madagascar, Aqa Moula (TUS) arrived Nairobi for a one-hour stop. Thousands of mumineen of East Africa had gathered at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport from as early as 10.00am for deedar mubarak. Aqa Moula (TUS) arrived by Air India at 1.45pm and proceeded to a special dias erected in front o! f the large parking area where mumineen had patiently waited. The moment Moula came into view, the ground reverberated with naara-e-takbir and “Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin – Zindabad”. Aqa Moula (TUS) gave a heart-rendering salaami before taking seat. After Tilaawat-e-Quraan-e-Majid, Aqa Moula (TUS) was presented a bouquet of flowers followed by recitation of abyaat from qasida “Ilaahi Sa’altoka Fil Jumua”. Some young Abna-ul-Madrasa-tus- Saifiya- tul-Burhaniyah then welcomed Aqa Moula (TUS) and made araz for Moula to grace Nairobi mumineen with a visit on return from Madagascar. This was followed by rasam of sharbat and wadhawanu and araz of shukr najwa. Aaliwaqaar Shehzada Qaidjohar Bhaisaheb Ezzuddin (DM) welcomed Aqa Moula (TUS) to Nairobi, expressed shukr for Moula’s karam and ehsaan, and extended izan for Moula to visit Nairobi again for a longer stay on return from Madagascar. Then Aqa Moula (TUS) showered nawaazish of noorani dua’i kalemaat. Mumineen absorbed the pearls of dua with tears of joy. Aqa Moula (TUS) then officially declared open the 9th Annual Burhani East African Sports Festival ( coincidentally being hosted this year by Nairobi) by untying a red ribbon on a special plaque made for this occasion. After further kalemaat of dua , sports delegations from all the participating centers marched past Aqa Moula (TUS) led by the newly created marching band of Burhani Scouts of Al-Madrasa-tus-Saifiya-tul-Burhaniyah, Nairobi. Moula gave salaami to the participants as they marched past. Finally, amidst tears of mumineen, Aqa Moula (TUS) bestowed farewell salaami and proceeded to the V.I..P. lounge for Zohr/Asr namaaz before boarding a specially chartered flight for the journey to Madagascar. |
