| Date Line Pune ------------ 7th July 2003 02:00 p.m. Huzurala TUS arrives in Poona Huzurala Syedna va Maulana Abul Qaid Johar Mohammed Burhanuddin TUS arrived in Poona today at 12 noon. Aqa Maula TUS was given a grand welcome at the Empress Garden. About 12000 Mumineen, Muminaat and their children were present from in and around Poona. Huzurala TUS motorcade reached the venue at exactly 12:10 p.m. A shaandar Procession was taken out to welcome Maula. An elephant, followed by camels, horses and Mumineen dressed in traditional Marath, Peshwaee, Mughlai dress were walking in front. Jamalee Scout played a welcome tune. Aqa Maula TUS was Jalwanuma in a two horse buggy. A special stage was erected for Aqa Maula TUS alone. All dignitaries and others were seated at a separate area. Amil Saheb Janab Abdeali Bhaisaheb presented Shukraguzari and welcome note. It was followed by felicitations by various dignitaries. First amongst them was the Mayor of Pune Mrs. Dipti Choudhary. She, in her short speech, welcome Huzurala TUS on behalf of citizens of Poona. Sharabat and Wadhava were presented. Huzurala TUS bestowed Mumineen with Kalemaat Nooraniya. In which Aqa Maula TUS narrated the visit of Hon. President of India, on yesterday at Saifee Mahal. Aqa Maula TUS prayed for the prosperity of India and also of Poona. Maula also prayed for communal harmony. Huzurala TUS fasal farmayu, that Yavme Shahadat-e-Maulatena Fatema will be at Poona. Report by: M.
