Munich Airport 24 July
It is becoming a familiar scene now. Eager faced mumineen from all
corners of Europe trickling into Munich's International Airport, many
traveling for upto 20 hours by road, just for a glimpse of their beloved
Bawa Shafiq.
Mumineen from Germany, Sweden and The Netherlands had gathered in the
Munich International Airport Press Centre. Aqa Maula's BA flight to
London Heathrow was scheduled to leave at 11.55 a.m.. By 10 in the
morning, the press centre was transformed into a radiant chamber
decorated with banners and noorani kalemaat and mumineen were excitedly
chatting away about the prospects of the amazing events about to unfold.
However, at around 11.30 a.m. news reached some of us, that due to the
infamous German AutoBahn traffic, Aqa Maula (TUS) was being severely
delayed. Officials from the Airport had actually come to the press
centre to request Aqa Maula and his entourage to make their way to the
aircraft for boarding. They showed particular surprise when they were
informed that Aqa Maula hadn't even arrived yet! By this time,
apprehension was rising in minds of Mumineen that perhaps this time we
would not be able to see our beloved Maula after all. Could it have been
due to all our numerous kusur's that we were going to be denied a
glimpse of our maula?
But then, at 11.40, like a cool gust of wind, Aqa Maula breezed into the
press centre and graced all the Mumineen in a way, only the true Dai of
Imam uz Zamaan could. With immense Karam and Ehsaan, Aqa Maula TUS gave
salaami to all Mumineen present and sat on the bethak provided. A
wadhawanu rasm was performed, and Mumineen from The Netherlands and
Sweden were fortunate enough to be allowed to present najwatus Shukur in
return for the priceless dua's of barakaat. In a further show of
benevolence,
Aqa Maula
then allowed the muminaat bahen's to perform kadambosi! Shortly after,
Aqa Maula had to leave for the awaiting plane, but it is safe to say, no
mumineen present was left wanting. It was a wonderful dreamlike reality
that was experienced by everyone present that day.
I think I speak for everyone present, we beseech Allah (SWT) to grant
such a caring and benevolent Maula a long and healthy life, to continue
showering mumineen from all over the world with his karam and ehsaan,
taa Roze Qayamat. Ameen.
