His Excellency Shri Viren Shah, Governor of West Bengal had come on Sunday 25th April to cast his vote in Bombay and His Excellency was invited to visit Raudat Tahera. The Governor was welcomed at Raudat Tahera by Syedi Mazoon Saheb tus and Amirul Jamea Shahzada Aliwaqar Abbas bhaisaheb Fakhruddin Saheb DM.

His Excellency was very much impressed by Raudat Tahera and he said he is so proud that this is the only monument that within the 4 walls the entire Quran Majeed is inscribed and carved in marble. He said he is very proud that India possesses such a monument. Then His Excellency spoke about the Bohra community, under the guidance and leadership of Aqa Maula TUS,  always lives in peace with the rest of the countrymen whether in India or any other part of the world. This is their century old tradition.
