Huzurala Syedna va Maulana Abul Qaid Johar Mohammed Burhanuddin TUS
performed the iftetah of newly constructed Qutbi Masjid in Bhendi Bazar
area of Mumbai a few minutes before Maghrib on 16th Rajab 1425 H -
Tuesday amongst the Naara of Zindabad and Taqbeer.
A large gathering of Mumineen was anxiously awaiting arrival of our
Maula TUS since early afternoon. Nizam of cards was followed and those
holding valid cards were admitted in the masjid well in advance. Others
unfortunate to get one were standing on the roads and by lanes to do the
deedar.
Huzurala TUS' motorcade arrived with police escort at 6-50 p.m.
Immediately Huzurala TUS granted the sharaf of Deedar and Salami to
Mumineen standing on the roads and balconies of surrounding houses.
Huzurala TUS performed the ceremonial Iftetah by opening of lock and
immediately lead magreb and Isha Namaz.
Shz. Syedi Qaid Johar Bhaisaheb DM presented the araz for Waqaf, which
Aqa Maula TUS accepted and declared the masjid Waqaf.
Namaz was followed by Majlis of Khatmul Quran to mark the beginning of
Ayyamul Barakaatil Khuldiyah. Qasida Sharifa were recited in Chorus.
Later Amil Saheb Shk. Zoebbhai Galiyakotwala presented the detailed Araz
of Waqaf in Hazarat Imamiya Nooraniya which Maula TUS graciously
accepted.
In the Mukhtasar Bayan Huzurala TUS described the Hudud of Masjid and
prayed Doa Mubarak for those who performed the khidmat. On the Zikr of
Imam Hussain AS, Mumineen did pur josh matam. Majlis culminated at 9
p.m.
Huzurala TUS was presented Ziyafat at the Dar ul Imarat.
