Later he joined Aqa Maula (TUS) on the couch sitting next to him. During the guftagu, Aqa Maula (TUS) expressed his joy to be back in Dar us salaam. He said he liked Tanzania and its people and praised the nation’s development and peace. He reminded the newly elected president about the hard tasks of nation building ahead. In his reply, the president said “With your blessings I will succeed in my endeavour “.
Aqa Maula (TUS) bestowed tashreef of the customary shawl, alaamat sharifa, a pen and tasbeeh. When presenting the alaamat sharifa, Aqa Maula (TUS) informed the president that the Bismillah was hand written by his late father Aqa Syedna Taher Saifuddin Saheb (RA).
The president posed for a photograph with Aqa Maula (TUS), Shahzada Sahebs and Anjuman e Saifee delegation who had accompanied Aqa Maula (TUS) to state house. Aqa Maula TUS is bid farewell by the President after the visit to the State House

Today Aqa Maula (TUS) paid a courtesy call on the President of the United Republic of Tanzania, His Excellency Jakaya Kikwete at the state house in Dar us salaam. The acting foreign minister had especially called at Qasr Mubarak to escort Aqa Maula (TUS) to State House. Maula was also accompanied by six Shahzada Sahebs.

In the audience hall, the president gave Aqa Maula a very warm welcome and then came to sit near him. Later he joined Aqa Maula (TUS) on the couch sitting next to him. During the guftagu, Aqa Maula (TUS) expressed his joy to be back in Dar us salaam. He said he liked Tanzania and its people and praised the nation’s development and peace. He reminded the newly elected president about the hard tasks of nation building ahead. In his reply, the president said “With your blessings I will succeed in my endeavour “. He also acknowledged the Bohra community as a peace loving community and its role in the development of Tanzania.

Finally Aqa Maula (TUS) bestowed tashreef of the customary shawl, alaamat sharifa, a pen and tasbeeh. When presenting the alaamat sharifa, Aqa Maula (TUS) informed the president that the Bismillah was hand written by his late father Aqa Syedna Taher Saifuddin Saheb (RA). The president agreed that the calligraphy was indeed brilliant.

Finally at the end of the meeting which had lasted for 25 minutes, the president posed for a photograph with Aqa Maula (TUS), Shahzada Sahebs and Anjuman e Saifee delegation who had accompanied Aqa Maula (TUS) to state house.

On return to Qasr Mubarak, Aqa Maula (TUS) bestowed the sharaf of ziyafat to Shk. Saifuddinbhai Essajee and family.

May Allah Subhanahu grant Aqa Maula (TUS) sehat aafiyat malabis zafiya till yawme Qayamat – Ameen.
