Procession
On the eve of Milad Un Nabi SAW, the mumineen of Dubai gathered together outside the Saifee Masjid prior to the Maghrib prayers. Mumeneen went in a procession in celebration of Milad Un Nabi.
It is a very unique event, specially in a Gulf Country and special permission had been taken prior to the event from the appropriate Govt. authorities.
More than 150 packets of sweets were handed out to Non-Bohri spectators who had gathered outside to see the procession.

Business Seminar
In celebration of Milad Un Nabi SAW, Tolaba Ul Kulliyat Il Mumenoon, Dubai, had organised a Business Seminar on the 12th of Rabi Ul Awwal 1421 (14th June 2000).
This seminar was on ' Trade, Commerce and Industry in the 21st century' and was held at the Bustan Rotana Hotel in Dubai.
The chief guest for the evening was H.E. Mr. K.C. Singh, the Ambassador of India to the UAE, who had come specially from Abu Dhabi to Dubai to attend this seminar.
Other highlights of the seminar were Mr. Sam Swaminathan, who is a renowned International Corporate Trainer and consultant, Mr Nalin Wijetilleke, Y2K manager of the EMirates bank Group and Janab Behlah bs Husamuddin(grandson of Syedi Mukasir Saheb), who spoke on Business according to Islamic Ethics & Law.
The Seminar was followed by a grand buffet and the seminar was attended in full capacity.
There were about 175 attendees at the seminar. Tolaba had to increase the limit from the pre-imposed limit of 150 seats initially, due to the increased demand.
On behalf of Tolaba, I would like to thank all who attended this seminar and with whose support only, was this seminar a great success.

Inauguration - Al Maktabat Al Burhaniyah (Library)
On the Mubarak night of Milad-e-Imam-Uz-Zaman (SA) and with Doa and Raza Mubarak of Aqaa Moulana TUS, inauguration of the new Maktab-Al-Burhaniya premises and Shabab Computer Training Center was performed by Janab Aamil Saheb Kinana Bhaisaheb Jamaluddin after the milad majlis.
The Inauguration was followed by a small presentation delivered by Shabab IT Committee which briefly described the activities of the Shabab IT Committee.
Members of Anjumane-E-Najmi and Shabab-Ul-Eddiz-Zahabi also participated in this inauguration ceremony which lasted for about 30 Minutes.
This Major event was possible only due to the Auspicious Guidance of Janab Aamil Saheb Kinana Bhai Saheb and the immense support of Anjumane-E-Najmi for which the Shabab IT Committee is thankful to them.
Shabab-Ul-Eddiz-Zahabi IT Commitee was formed around 2 months back and started conducting computer seminars for mumineen who had no or little knowledge of computers. IT commitee will be responsible for the following activities:
* Computer Seminars
* Computer Training Camps Basic & Advanced
* "Sautul Imaan" Cassettes / CD Recording and International Distribution
* Preparing an Audio Visual Library
* Internet Relay
* IT Career Orientation for Mumineen
* Consultancy Services to Mumineen for Purchasing Computers
In comtinuation of seminars, the IT commitee has now started following computer training courses for mumineen:
1. Computer Basics Installation, Configuration & Troubleshooting
2. Application Programs Use of Word & Excel
3. Internet Use, Installation & Configuration
4. Web Page Development Use of Frontpage, HTML Programing, Graphics
Those interested in joining these courses should contact Shabab Dubai office for further details. The training for the first batch will begin from Saturday 8th July.
In the end we again do shukr and doa that the almighty give a long and healthy life to our beloved Aqa Moulana TUS to guide us to do "Aamal" in accordance with "Khushi" of our beloved Aqa Moulana TUS.
